The name itself suggests the bright and contemporary Euro-style ambiance of this unique café and restaurant. The raw space presented several challenges: multiple levels, low ceilings and an awkward layout. The ATMOSPHERE DESIGN refashioned this former bank vault situated below street-level in a 100-year-old building to create a set of light-filled and eclectic adjoining spaces that are functional and fresh. ATMOSPHERE DESIGN was honored to receive The 2007 ASID Design Award of Excellence for ZEST Restaurant, selected as the best example of Creativity, Ingenuity and Design.
